I recently had the pleasure of meeting (on twitter, if that counts) a very talented young lady by the name of Tiffany. Why does this matter to you? Your style is impeccable. I’m not just talking about the way you dress. It’s the way you present your music. With chest pounding beats, and self aware lyrics, there aren’t many female artist out there that do it like you do it. You are beautiful and rugged at the same time. You are fresh and original, but yet you still find a way to pay homage to those who came before you. You are classy, yet everything you do screams “middle finger in your face”. You were able to hold your own on stage with some serious hip-hop heavy weights, at the grammy’s no less, while carrying a baby bump that looked like it was ready to pop at any moment. It’s what we are all looking for. Independence from our jobs, from our bills, from social labels. At the same time, we all look to be accepted by all of the above. It’s so confusing how we think as people. Here at LPDLY we are independent. We aren’t currently bound by bank loans and social perception. We just design clothes that we like, and hope that you do too. Our philosophy is simple, you are the first lady and we love you. Our product is top quality, and our designs are unique. We’ve tried to create a product that is both sexy and sassy, while at the same time being uplifting.

We’ve reached out to several blogs and brands seeking advice or a little promotion and very few have reached back. I’m not saying that to complain, I’m just pointing out the fact that very few people want to help you achieve that independence that we all covet. As large brands and companies continue to close ranks and attempt to steal more and more of the indy market share, we divide and guard the little market we have. Instead, I propose that we embrace one another and close ranks around the indy scene. Let’s share information and promote one another. We have always been a brand, but we’ve always promoted brands that we love…big or small. We have to shed the elitist mentality and let people in. Those that aren’t serious won’t survive…I assure you that. As for our customers, feel free to reach out us anytime. We always respond in a timely manner. Your feedback is important to us.
